2014 Class Schedule Posted

I would like to apologize to those of you that have logged on to Moss Prairie Gardens and have gotten no response or updates of any kind. 2013 was a lost year for me due to my mom’s ill health, and move. In the process of all of this, my husband had a serious accident. It’s been a year of recovery and change. I have set it in my mind that 2014 will be a year of renewal. That being said I would like to inform those of you that have logged on that I plan on having another series of gardening classes (click here for the 2014 schedule). Last year was a great success. I met some wonderful people, who remain very special to me. We all had a really good time and learned a lot, myself included.

If you would like to explore all the benefits of organic gardening, come join us for an evening of fun, while learning a skill that benefit’s the body, mind, soul and the environment, through the art of self sufficiency. Hope to see you there!

Note: The class schedule posted on the website was for 2013, it has just been updated for 2014. I am at this time hoping to start the new class schedule the 19th of March. All class descriptions are basically the same with some additions. I can be reached by e-mail at mossprairiegardens@gmail.com or by my cell # (585)794-9821. Due to my husband’s accident, we have temporarily moved as to make his recovery easier. The 554-6150 number is no longer in service.

My name is Anne Grover. I live on 16 acres at the edge of Rushville NY. I was raised on a small farm and have participated in farming and gardening all my life. I helped to establish and manage the Wegmans Organic Farm for a time, but I missed the intimacy of my own garden, so I’m back on my own.

I would like to share this passion with you. I believe in these environmentally harsh times there is an answer, and that we can bring about positive change, one garden at a time.

Come and see what the organic difference can make, while learning a life skill that can improve your physical and emotional health, as well as making you more self sufficient and reconnect you to nature.

Please check out the workshops. Series one starts February 19th through April 23rd. Also, check out the Moss Prairie Gardens blog. There will be information on gardening, the environment, recipes to make the most of your garden produce, and sometimes just the wisdom and wonder the garden bestows.  Hope you join me!
